Koln (0 AH) vs. Werder Bremen - Preview

Desperate times are coming for Koln since their 3 games losing streak dragged them into the relegation zone. They are in desperate need of points and coach Solbakken decided to organize a mini camp this week in order to keep his players away from any distractions. They will be without long term injured Novakovic and Pezzoni while full back Andrezinho picked a late heavy injury.

Werder are unpredictable like ever but their 4 loses in the last 6 games is also quite unexpected.  They are sitting in a comfortable mid table position and they are far from any worries, might them be European dreams or relegation concerns.  Their recent streak was also caused by a huge injury list but some players recovered this week, including the likes of Naldo, Boenisch or Sokratis but still, they aren’t at their full potential and they will most likely feature just few minutes today, if any.

I will give the edge to the hosts today since they will have a greater motivation and they can overturn their fate today, especially against a weakened Werder side. A bet on Koln at level ball looks like a decent option under the circumstances.
