| It looks like Den Bosch found their way up again, although it isn’t convincing yet. After a good performance and second half at Zwolle last week they even managed to win on Monday, beating Dordrecht 1-3. A stunning start brought them in a very comfortable position, leading 0-2 after just four minutes. Throughout the first half they had several chances on more goals, but it was Dordrecht scoring right before the break. In the second half Den Bosch’ at least showed their defence isn’t yet on the level it should be, as Dordrecht was pushing for the equaliser and the Den Bosch-defence didn’t look that solid at all. Their forwards however saved them; they scored the important third goal right in time, and secured all three points. Den Bosch is improving, but I doubt whether they can grab all three points from this derby game. We’re talking about an improving Den Bosch, but their problem is Helmond is doing even better. Like Den Bosch Helmond is targeting a playoff-spot, and with four wins in a row they’re definitely heading the right way. Last Friday they beat Volendam with big numbers, getting a 5-2 win at fulltime. It was a convincing display from Helmond, although a red card from Volendam halfway the game helped them too. They created tons of chances, scored goals easily and played pretty smart from time to time as well; Volendam was especially in the first half really not that weak, but their passing game was continuously frustrated by Helmond who obviously prepared for this game as they knew exactly how to play against this side. Helmond is a side which we shouldn’t overrate, and especially not away from home, but they’re confident and score goals easily. And with those two ingredients you can get a fifth win in a row. Den Bosch can’t be rated as big favourites here. They’re on their way up it seems and play on home soil, but 1.87 is too low for the -0,25 handicap. I don’t have the guts to back Helmond here either for this tight derby game, but what does attract me is the over 2.75. I’m pretty sure we’ll get some goals here, and can’t understand the high odds around 2.00. That’s definitely too much. Den Bosch isn’t the most attacking minded team and their organisation is quite good, but I can’t see them keeping a clean sheet against the excellent Helmond-forwards. Goals is my advice. Helmond has Winkens as recent absentee, Den Bosch didn’t report any fresh problems. |
