| Telstar has some work to do in front of this game with De Graafschap. The margin with teams like Oss
and Emmen is still pretty comfortable, but Telstar must add some points to their total now and than.
Last Friday looked like an ideal occasion with a home game against Omnwiorld, but things out to be
different. They didn’t really stand a chance in the first half, were 1-2 down halfway and although
Telstar improved during the second half they got never close to an equaliser. Their main quality
during the first half of the season was to score out of nowhere, and at least create some chances too,
but their machine failed against Omniworld. With that in mind you can’t be optimistic about their
chances against the league leaders.
De Graafschap’s win over Helmond two weeks ago was the kind of restart any team would love to
have. They won with pretty big numbers (4-0), and although the scoreline was a little bit too high
over 90 minutes they were definitely the most dominant side. In defence they gave too many chances
away, but unlike Helmond De Graafschap scored from their chances, and in a rather effective way as
well. The first two chances they created went in within fifteen minutes, and with all the experience
and quality this side hosts the game was already over from that moment on. De Graafschap made a
good impression in that game, and although last week’s games at Dordrecht and against RBC were
postponed I’m pretty sure De Graafschap will deliver another solid game here at Telstar.
We should expect an awaywin here, and the -0,75 handicap is quite right priced for 1.85. I don’t
expect too much problems for De Graafschap, and during this phase of the season it looks like De
Graafschap can extend their lead on the table. I would recommend low/medium stakes. |
