| Willem II was defeated in the big Brabant-derby with NAC. In Breda they lost with big numbers (4-0), but after ninety minutes of football they were actually quite lucky the score wasn’t much bigger as this score was already reached at halftime. After an early NAC-goal Willem II’s organisation was gone, and their defence was a total mess. NAC’s fast strikers and wingers were a real plague for Willem II, and after the second goal it looked like Willem II gave up. Willem II is a kind of all-or-nothing-team this season, and this definitely was a ‘nothing-game’. With ADO as next opponent and the match being played on home soil it’s imaginable we’ll get an ‘all-game’ this week, as I’m pretty sure Willem II will play a whole different game this week. It was no big surprise that ADO was defeated by PSV last round (1-5), but it was quite shocking to see how it happened. ADO’s downtrend form was clearly visible, and with 0-2 already after fourteen matches the match was over early on. ADO wasn’t able to compensate the difference in quality with a high workrate, and instead they made some stupid fouls and finished the game with two reds – not for the first time this season. ADO is heading to the bottom zone again, and although Willem II isn’t in good shape either it seems like even this away match at Willem II could be a bridge too far for ADO. Their current form isn’t brilliant, they miss several players because of injury or suspension, and Willem II is the kind of opponent that knows how to win six-pointers on home soil. A homewin could be a very attractive bet. Odds around 2.00 on Willem II -0,5 are pretty attractive and I would definitely give it a shot. Of course it’ll be a close game with a lot of passion from either side, but Willem II is definitely more experienced in winning games like these and unlike ADO they won’t lose their head. ADO was over the past few days in a very negative way in the spotlights, and the atmosphere at their club is definitely not good. I would recommend a play on Willem II here. Willem II has goalie Aerts as fresh missing, ADO misses Van den Bergh and Immers. |
