Salzburg's coach Giovanni Trapattoni will welcome back the 34 y.o. German striker Alexander Zickler (28/16), who missed the last matches for a calf injury, the 32 y.o. Slovenian central defender Aleksanr Knavs (2/0 and 1/0 with Slovenia), who had an Achille's tendon problem, and the 32 y.o. Chilean central defender Jorge Vargas (22/0), who was suspended in the last round. Vargas will be back in the starting eleven whilst both Zickler and Knavs will probably just start from the bench because they are both not at their best yet.
Unavailable the 31 y.o. Japanese central defender Tsuneyasu Miyamoto (15/0), who will miss the rest of the season for hamstring, the 29 y.o. Hungarian right back Laszlo Bodnar (9/0), who came back 2 weeks ago after a 4 months stop but he is againt forced out for a muscular injury, and the 28 y.o. Serbian defender Milan Dudic (24/2), who is suffering for some muscular problems.
Besides these injured players there are still some other doubts. First of all the 27 y.o. Swiss defender Remo Meyer (12/2), who is still struggling with his knee problems and very probably won't be able to face Sturm Graz, whils the 31 y.o. midfielder René Aufhauser (24/5 and 13/2 with Austria), made his come back in the final minutes at Ried and so he is again in the squad even if not at his best form yet, the 24 y.o. forward Marc Janko (11/4 and 1/0 with Austria), suffered for an ankle torn and missed the match at Ried but now he is feeling pretty good and should start in the first eleven. 
The 29 y.o. Argentine defensive midfielder Ezequiel Alejo Carboni (36/1) is suspended after he collected his 9th yellow card of the season at Ried.

Sturm Graz has two big blows for this match at Salzburg. First of all the well known missing of his first goalkeeper the 26 y.o. Christian Gratzei (31/-), who had a knee surgery and will be missed for a month, and the Sturm and Austria National Team defensive leader, the 20 y.o. central defender Sebastian Prödl (24/2 and 8/2 with Austria), who is suspended for this round after he got his fifth yellow card of the season on last weekend.
In Gratzei's place the 41 y.o. Josef Schicklgruber (1/-), who made his season debut last weekend, will start again between Sturm's posts.
Unavailable the 21 y.o. right wing Mario Kreimer (7/0 and 5/3 in Regionalliga Mitte with Sturm Graz II), who is out since he got an injury in the match against Rapid Vienna, and the 22 y.o. left midfielder Sandro Lindschinger (8/0 and 3/2 with Sturm Graz II in Regionalliga Mitte), sho is out since 3 months ago. 
Another problem for coach Foda is the doubtful 28 y.o. Georgian defender Georgi Shashiashvili (29/0 and 7/1 with Georgia), who suffered in the last week for a light muscular injury.

It's really hard to make an evaluation about Red Bulls' status at the moment after their big home defeat against Rapid on Easter Sunday. Their last match at Ried was a 2-1 win but not a convincing one and Ried at the moment is one of the worst team in Austrian 1.Bundesliga. Sturm have two very important missings but have nothing to lose and the pression of course is only in the home side. Sturm motivation is the pride and the chance to get at least a top 3 finish in the league that will mean an Uefa Cup ticket for the next season. Odds are a joke in my opinion because Sturm Graz won 4-1 in their last match at Graz just before the winter break so even if at Salzburg Red Bulls usually have a big advantage for their own artificial pitch I can't miss a try in Sturm's side with these odds and of course above all couning in this particular psychological moment of the Austrian defending champions.
