They will play in Libertadore next week, against fellow Peruvians Alianza Lima, and that game is certainly more important than the one from the league. So far, in the matches played with the second team, they have only won once, against Universitario Lima who were also with a reserve team, otherwise making a draw at FBC Melgar, and losing away at newly promoted Leon de Huanuco. Alianza Atletico is usually an average team in Peru, mid-table, and this year there is no exception, winning only against poor Cienciano, and loing heavy versus Alianza from Lima 3-0, followed by a draw at home against Inti Gas (who aren't good travelers at all). But still, the odds are too high for Alianza today, in my opinion, and since Aurich are struggling when playing with their second squad, and a win for them is surely worth trying. GL! |
