Harry Redknapp has some problems with injured players as Ledley King and Luka Modric will definately miss this game.It was expected that Modric will be fit for today's game but he hasn't got a full training session yet.Carlo Cudicini the second goalkeeper is missing the rest of the season after a motorbike accident. Wigan are a very strange team as they got shock wins against Chelsea 3:1 at home,they won on the opening day in Birmingham against Aston Villa and they won away at Burnley's Turf Moor where nobody had taken something untill that time.But on the other side they lost to Portsmouth 4:0 and Hull City 2:1 - Portsmouth and Hull City are the two worst teams in the premier league at that moment.They got a good 1:1 draw at home against Manchester City and after that they had a bad 1:1 draw at home against Fulham where they had to win. Tottenham have been on decent run they started the season very good but after that they lost against Chelsea,Manchester United and Arsenal and they also made a shock defeat at home to Stoke City 0:1.But for me Tottenham are looking a solid performerce at home and i don't expect them to loose a second home game against oposition from the second half of the table. For me this game will be a high scoring game as Tottenham will probably start the game with 3 strikers in Crouch,Defoe and Keane like in their last game against Sunderland and knowing that Martinez likes to take risks he will not sit back and his team will also try to attack from the first whistle.That's why i will go for Tottenham to win by 2 goals minimum. |
