I will continue to back the home teams, as Gabon are hosts of the competition and that should be huge facor IMO. They will have great support and will be boosted by that fact for sure.
They proved it already, as they won all their group games, beating strong teams like Maroco and Tunisia, also Niger. Gabon is strong side, well-packed team, and showed that got great offensive skills, scoring 6 goals so far, keeping 2 clean sheets. 31.01.2012 NC Gabon 1-0 Tunisia 27.01.2012 NC Gabon 3-2 Morocco 23.01.2012 NC Gabon 2-0 Niger
I didnt expect Mali to win progress, but they quite lucky won over another home side Guinea with 1:0, where they got only one chance during the 90 minutes, but scored. Also they got help from the post once, and from the referee, who didnt award a clear penalty against them. Mali\'s striker is well known in my country - Garra Dembele, who was first in my local team - Lokomotiv and then played at Levski for a while. Now he is in Freiburg and hasnt got even 1 game as a starter in the first part of the season. I rate Gabon as the better side, and I expect them to use their home advantage on the most proper way, winning this 1/4 final Home win @ 2.42 Stake: 4/4
