Villareal B vs. Barcelona B - Preview

Both teams are B squad, and cant be promoted, so they wont have pressure or wont use the tactic - parking the bus.

 

Also both sides are making a lot of rotations all the time, as some of their regulars are promoted in the first teams from time to time, so we cant speak about well-pact defensive lines for sure.

 

Villareal B surprised everyone, including me last round, beating promotion candidate Hercules away from home with 0:2, even without more than 4-5 regulars, and the team escaped from the danger zone for now.

 

At home they got 7 overs in their last 10 matches, keeping only 2 clean sheets in last 12 games in front of home crowd.

 

Barcelona B is always playing aggressive and offensive. The team sold their best striker Soriano to Salzburg, but it seems they wont have troubles with scoring goals, making 2 straight wins with 2:0 over Xerez and 4:2 over Huesca, where Rodri scored 4 goals in these 2 matches.

 

Its quite hard to evaluate the motivation here, so the better choice should be the goals option IMO
