AC Milan vs. Inter - Preview

Derby de la Madonnina will be played tonight, with Milan being rated as hosts and with both teams in very good form, at least on paper.

Inter had an awful start of the campaign but they’ve managed to recover in the meantime, sitting now on the 5^th position, 12 points behind Milan. Even so, their gameplay suffers a lot and I doubt Ranieri is the man to bring them success.  They are on a streak of a 5 games unbeaten run but this shouldn’t be impressive, since all their opponents were out of form bottom teams. Forlan and Sneijder have recovered from injuries but they will probably sit on the bench, Ranieri being willing to start with the same team like last week.

Milan finally climbed on top of the league and they are looking like the most serious title contender from all. Their play is solid and the roster has enough depth to cover all their long list of abset players in the past weeks. Now, they will have Nesta and Seedorf back in contention and this will surely add some extra quality.

This is a huge derby but the righteous favorite is for sure AC Milan. They are superior to Inter in every aspect and I strongly believe they will prove Inter’s so called revival was nothing more than a soap balloon. The odds for Milan’s win are too good to miss under the circumstances.
