AZ Alkmaar (-1,5 AH) vs. SV Wehen - Preview

AZ have scheduled 3 friendly game for their Turkey mid season preparations, against Werder, Wehen and FK Baku. They’ve lost against Werder (1-2) two days ago but coach Verbeek used that game to make some experiments and to see all his players in action, making 11 substitutions at half time, which caused them to suffer at the cohesion chapter.

Wehen is having a difficult time in the 3^rd German League and they are now trying to fix their problems. They’ve already played two friendly games this year, winning 3-2 against Sportfreunde Lotte and losing 1-2 to Fortuna Koln.

The weather in Belek is now appropriate for playing football and this is a big advantage for the obviously better side, AZ. Even if Verbeek will continue his experiments from Werder’s game, I find it hard to believe Wehen will have any word to say in this game. The quality gap is quite big and AZ definitely has what it takes to cover the 1,5 AH.
