Espanyol vs. Barcelona (-4 EH) - Preview

Barcelona reaction after the 5-1 win of Real Madrid yesterday against Granada mus comes as the difference between these two top teams now is six points from three points that was before that match. Barcelona does have the great opportunity to take that difference once more the same and take the pressure once more to Real Madrid.

 

The Catalunyan team must improve in this match without the striker David Villa as he is injured for a long time but he was replaced in many important matches from Alexis Sanchez and the Chilean player proved to be in a very good form and it looks like he got even the place of David Villa now. Another player that would be out for them is Ibrahim Afellay but he is not important for the team as even when he was available for the coach Pep Guardiola still didn\'t play enough matches.

 

Espanyol does have some important missings in this match like the goalkeeper Carlos Kameni that returned in the training but still is not fit to play in this tough one. Other important players out for them are Javi Lopez, Juan Albin, Raul Baena and Walter Pandiani. It seems like will be even more difficult for Espanyol with all these missings.

 

Barcelona won in the last match in transfer against Real Madrid with the result 1-3 by proving once more how powerful this team is even in different seasons.
