After detailed observation I decided to place a bet on this match. 

 

First of all, both teams enters this match after defeats and both will try to find their way out and bounce back! The team who is closer to this way out is Cambridge Utd in my eyes. Cambridge Utd is very good at home, undefeated in the last 10 matches with 5 of them coming with cleat sheets. Southport are bit downtrend right now, after impressive 8 consecutive wins at road, now their ship slowly going down. The best example is their last defeat from Fletwood (0-6) at home, even being with one man more than their oponent. 

 

Speaking of team news, Cambridge\'s midfielder Ashley Carew (25 app, 5 goals) returns from suspension, with defender Rory McAuley (15 app, 1 goal) out of the match - long term injured. Cambridge might include striker Andy Pugh today if he complete a transfer from Welling. 

Southport might welcome back defender Chris Lever (20 app, 2 goals), who missed Sunday\'s game, while midfilder Karl Ledsham (22 app, 2 goals) and centre-back Steve Akrigg (24 app, no goals) have been rated doubtful. Further more, their star midfilder Godfrey Poku (21 app, no goals) will play his last match for Southport, unless an extension or transfer is agreed (on loan from Luton).

 

I expect a tough game today, but I give a slight advantage to host because after being 3-0 down, they showed spirit and almost earn a point, while Southport were trashed with player more in the field and it will be hard to recover fast. Also if Poku\'s loan deal end, his mind will be on diferent place, not in this match, so I bellive Cambridge is closer to take the points in their play off race.
