Newcastle vs. Swansea - Preview

After a great run this autumn, Newcastle wasn’t able to win in their last 4 games. Still, there is an excuse for that, since they’ve played against City, United and Chelsea and didn’t look bad in neither of these games. They’ve lost to Norwich last round but they were playing with a depleted defense. Now, they will welcome back Coloccini and Williamson and these problems might be solved. Tiote is a doubt while Gosling is suspended.

Swansea had a good season for a new promoted team but this is quite normal since they usually find it much harder in their second season of premier league. They are quite strong at home but they are the worst team on the road, being able to gather only 2 points away from home, from a total of 21 possible.

Swansea are still a Championship side from the quality point of view and I believe this  will be pobvious today. Newcastle are a more than a decent side and this game looks like the perfect opportunity to get back on their winning ways.
