Sevilla vs. Real Madrid (-1 AH) - Preview

After another disastrous El Classico, Real will look for revenge against Sevilla. The Andalusians aren’t having a great season and they are quite far from the team they were some years ago, when they actually could have considered taking points against Real.

The Madrid side has temporary lost the first position but they have one game in hand compared to Barca. They’ve used a mixed squad against Ponferradina in the Cup, using mainly reserves except Marcelo and Ronaldo so now they should look totally different.

Carvalho is the most important missing for Real while Perotti will miss for Sevilla. It’s hard to believe the hosts will get any points today against the Spanish giants. They are thirsty for blood and they need to let behind last week’s game in order to fulfill their title dreams.

The difference between these teams is significant and Sevilla, not like many other teams from Primera, is able to go out and play against real, leaving big spaces at the back, who could be easily exploited by Real’s killer counters. The Ah line is set only at 1 and I believe real has it all in their hands to cover it.
