Sunderland vs. Blackburn - Preview

A derby of suffering will take place this noon on  The Stadium of Light, opposing Sunderland and Blackburn. Both teams are in a delicate situation and both are desperate to win some points in order to move up from the relegation zone.

Martin O’Neil has a tough task at Sunderland but he is a man able to perform wonders. Still, they are winless from almost a month and they need to change this situation as soon as possible. Lee Cattermole is suspended while Bendtner will probably miss the game due to injury.

Blackburn managed to put an end to a similar black period last round, winning 4-2 against Swansea last round. Rochina and Olsson are big doubts for today’s game while Nzonzi is still suspended.

Both teams are playing quite offensive football and both have some severe defensive leaks. Most of their late games had many goals on the menu and, since a point is not satisfactory for neither of them, I believe we will have some also today.
