Dinamo were brought back to Earth last round, after suffering a heavy defeat in the derby against Steaua. This allowed the gap between them and their followers to be reduced and, after CFR’s draw from yesterday, even losing the first place. They’ve bounced back in the midweek, winning 2-1 against Petrolul in the Cup, a game which they controlled with ease and now they are facing another troubled team from Ploiesti, Astra. Bakaj is injured while Alexe is a doubt, otherwise coach Ciubotariu having a full squad to choose from.
Astra looked like a contender for the European places at the beginning of the season but they are nothing but an average side. Moreover, their owner gone loose and he ruined the team’s morale with his decisions over the past few months. He sees conspiracies everywhere and many players were sent to the second team due to his insanity, Bruno Miguel being the last on a list which also includes Udoji and Matei. Miranda and N’doye are suspended, while the injury list isn’t a short one either.
Bottom line is they should deal without a lot of players against Dinamo today. Their play is bad and Dinamo should take full profit of their situation. Away win is my call.
