Ajax Amsterdam vs. Real Madrid (-2 EH) - Preview

Ajax Amsterdam and Real Madrid are against each other tonight in this Champions League match. This match will be played in Amsterdam Arena of Amsterdam and in my opinion this would be the only slight advantage for Ajax Amsterdam to make a good performance at home and to secure a positive result in front of their supporters. Ajax Amsterdam is actually in the 2nd position in group D with eight points from five matches that they have done at the moment while Lyon stands in the 3rd position with five points from five matches that they have done already in this group stage. The coach of Ajax Amsterdam, Frank de Boer need to improve in this tough match without the services of Nicolai Boilesen, Bruno Silva, Siem de Jong and Kolbeinn Sigthorsson as they are all injured while Derk Boerrigter is in doubt while the only good news for them is the return in the team of Gregory van der Wiel. In the other side Real Madrid traveled in Amsterdam with full squad but most probably the coach, Jose Mourinho will rest some important players and will field players like Antonio Adan, Raul Albiol and Hamit Altintop. In my opinion even the second line-up of Real Madrid is enough powerful to give some pressure to Ajax Amsterdam and eliminate them from Champions League. Real Madrid must play fairly and the only way to make that is to secure the sixth win by taking maximum points in the group that will be even a huge motivation just ahead of the weekend clash against Barcelona.
